We use Launchpad to identify why the children are struggling in a specific area. It provides staff with small step goals to close their gaps.

We use LP to identify and plan next steps for our nursery and reception children. We also find it useful to support our SEND children and those in year 1 that are not meeting EYFS goals.

LP has been very helpful to show us the low starting points of our children at two so we can plan the curriculum to meet the needs as the cohorts each year come in with lower starting points.

We use Launchpad to plan small group times in Nursery & some interventions in KS1.

Some children have now reached age-related expectations that would not have done so without the work we have done with Launchpad.

We’ve seen tangible progress among children with identified C&L needs, including those on the SEND register. Using LP has allowed us to break skills down and target support with precision.

In addition to supporting identification of delay & disorder, we use the LP Skill steps to plan interventions and to select specific targets for an individual child’s support plan.

The Launchpad has completely transformed our understanding and teaching of pre-phonics skills across EYFS.
